Fresh and nourishing start to a spring morning
Our favourite overnight oats recipe but in a fruity, new flavour combination.
This breakfast is the most incredible way to start your day, delivering a great serving of fibre, protein, healthy fats and complex carbohydrates.
- Rolled oats: Complex carbohydrate that will digest slowly and delivery a steady release of energy
- Chia seeds: great source of fibre which is key for your gut health and an incredible source of omega-3 fatty acids.
- All Day Whey protein powder: Keeps you feeling full and satisfied and fortified with DigeZymeTM to foster a healthy gut environment
- Yopro: Also a great source of protein to keep you feeling full and an incredible source of calcium
- Milk: Absolutely any variety can be used to here to suit your preferences and needs
- White chocolate: The perfect sweet finish - and yes, of course you can have chocolate for breakfast and be perfectly healthy!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 2 tbsp Strawberry Burst All Day Whey
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp Strawberry Yopro
- 2/3 milk
- 15g white chocolate
- 1 tbsp vanilla yoghurt
METHOD:
- Combine oats, chia seeds and protein powder in a jar/ container
- Add yoghurt and milk and stir well to combine
- Place in the freezer to set. In the meantime, melt white chocolate in saucepan over low heat and stir in vanilla yoghurt for that cream topping
- Drizzle on top of your oats and top with a fresh strawberry
- Refrigerate for a minimum 30 mins, but best overnight which makes this an amazing meal prep option.
