Perfect Protein Oats With All Day Whey

You asked and we listened

A lot of you have been struggling to get the right consistency for your protein oats, whether it becomes too watery after adding your protein powder or it forms a weird, fluffy film when you cook it in the microwave

We have the perfect ratios and cooking instructions for you to nail your protein oats every time

First, let's cover why this happens:

Our All Natural Whey Protein is an isolate, meaning it is 100% protein with absolutely no fillers or concentrate blends. This makes the consistency a lot more fine where it doesn't respond well to cooking and there's nothing to soak up the excess liquid and moisture due to the absence of fillers or carbohydrates.

Rest assured, this isn't a bad thing at all, it is actually a great sign of a very high quality protein powder. It just has it's own unique preparation method which we're going to break down below:

  • For every 60g of oats (1/2 cup) you're going to use 80ml of liquid (milk or water)
  • Mix together and cook in the microwave for 90-120 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds.
  • Once cooked, it should look very thick and dense.
  • Add just half a scoop of protein and begin working it through. Once combined add the other half (or as much as desired) and work that through until well combined.
  • If you prefer it be a little bit runnier, you can always add more water till desired consistency is reached.

Add your favourite toppings and there you'll have the perfect protein oats.
